How to upload a video and subtitle file to Vimeo?
The logo of scribit Pro appears on the screen.
First, open the correct video in Vimeo.
A loading screen will appear. It may take a few minutes for the video to upload.
Once the upload is complete, click on advanced at the bottom right of the drop-down menu.
The video is being converted. This too can take a few minutes.
A loading screen appears.
When your video is completely converted, click on the heading Distribution on the left in the drop-down menu.
Now click on Subtitles. After which you can select the language for your subtitles under the heading My Uploads
The Dutch language is being selected.
Under the heading 'Language' there is another option called 'Type'. Choose the option 'Captions and Subtitles'.
Select the correct SRT file.
Activate the SRT file by clicking on the activation button.
Save your settings.
Click on 'General' at the top of the menu.
When you click on the 'CC icon', your chosen language will appear on the screen.
Once you select the language, your subtitles will appear while the video is playing.
You can now download the video.
