TREKKING IN NEPAL | Everest Base Camp 5360m | Three Passes Trek
Join us on our journey to see the world's highest mountain, Mt. Everest! In this video we trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, cross the Cho La and Renjo La Passes, and climb Gokyo Ri. Opinions can vary on Everest Base Camp and its ethical side, but for us it was mainly a fascinating experience (and of course, the most incredible views in the world). My favourite section of the route, though, came only after we left the biggest tourist crowds behind, when we crossed the unbelievably beautiful Renjo La Pass! That's how our 17 day trek came to an end.😮💨
The Three Passes Trek is roughly a 200 km trek through the Himalayas. It crosses three passes over 5,000 metres, and along the way you can summit a few high peaks too. We're doing this trip with Matsu, and it's the first time in Nepal for both of us!🏔️
This is the third part of the video series. In part one we drove for two days to reach the starting point of the trek, and in part two the trekking itself began.
