Robert Eggers The Lighthouse had audiences on the edge of their seats, and it was applauded for not only its incredible acting, but also for its stunning look. Today I go over how to get a similar look in Davinci Resolve.
The Lighthouse was shot on 35mm Film with some incredible vintage lenses from the 1930's. What I cover today will be using a digital camera with modern lenses, and the look will be achieved more on the post production side of things.
I should also note that Joe Gawler is someone I admire greatly in this industry, and he's helped create some of the prettiest frames in the past number of years.
