According to Reuters, citing a representative of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate, North Korea has begun transferring its missile unit to the Voronezh region. This unit comprises approximately 90 troops, who are said to be receiving up to six launchers and approximately 120 KN-23 and KN-24 ballistic missiles. If confirmed, this information would mark a new stage in military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang and could significantly increase the threat to Ukraine. Reuters, however, specifically notes that it was unable to independently confirm these reports.
The most important point here is that this is no longer just a matter of arms supplies, but the possible deployment of North Korean crews directly on Russian territory. This means cooperation between the two countries is reaching a new level. For Ukraine, this could mean an increase in ballistic strikes, which remain one of the most challenging targets for air defense systems.
