Why Cedar? A Taiga Log Home. Solodovo Estate, Konstantin Bogomolov.
You've probably heard the saying that a real man should do three things in life: build a house, plant a tree, and raise a son. Our guest today is a true man.
To build his estate near Moscow, he assembled a team of skilled carpenters in a remote corner of the Siberian taiga. Under his guidance, they built not only the wooden house in the forest where we are now, but also hundreds of other amazing country houses.
Today's episode will discuss how to turn a youthful passion into a business and make it successful.
Russian estates and manors are almost always built in the European style. Our guest today, Konstantin Bogomolov, approaches the issue of building country houses in the forest from a completely different perspective. In their buildings, the Tayozhny Dom company combines the traditions of Russian wooden architecture with the latest technologies in forest country house construction. Their timber-framed houses and cedar taiga houses boast spacious, bright layouts.
Taiga House uses hand-cut cedar and larch timber for their country houses and Moscow estates. Their cedar cottages and private homes offer exceptional comfort.
If you're drawn to the countryside and natural beauty of the Moscow region, or if you've always wanted to build your own taiga house, a log house, or a Russian cedar bathhouse, be sure to watch this episode to the end. Konstantin will share with us his professional secrets for building log houses from pine, cedar, and larch, and explain how to build the perfect lakeside home. We'll also visit the taiga house at the Solodovo Estate for a fishing trip.
