Hamilton Varimatic Sensitive Precision Drill Press tool restoration, from junk to quality tool!
This drill press lived at Boeing for its early life and then was bought from a private party. It was in rough shape cosmetically, but under a lot of old paint, rust, grime, and other nastiness, it turned out to be a fine machine tool. Factory runout on these is .0002" of an inch apparently! After restoration, this one appears to be .0003" or less when measured with a tenths' indicator. Stick around to the end to see a VERY small hole drilled in a dime.
