Official Steadicam Merlin 2 instruction/setup video.
I own a Steadicam Merlin 2 and Steadicam JR and as these stabilisers still work today, I thought showing this on my channel as the original/official DVD is not on Youtube anymore. I left out the training as these are still on Youtube. I added a watermark as my previous JR video was downloaded and placed on an other channel without notifying me.
As said still work anno 2021 with modern (system) cameras like Sony A7 series etc.
Advantage of Steadicam: heavy payload, alway works, no batteries, small.
Disadvantage: balancing and operating. It's a skill you have to learn.
