Affinity Designer - Remove double outlines - laser cutting
This method is best if you are wanting two seperate pieces cut.
Why does this matter?
Example: If you have 2 objects, and the outlines of each object are lying on top of each other, then the laser cutter will pass over those areas twice. Use this mini tutorial to avoid that.
If you wanted both of those shapes to actually be 1 piece then use the boolean operations ADD to combine the shapes
