In this video, we showcase Document Extractor built for Salesforce platform. This is the solution to integrate your Salesforce org with SharePoint. It will:
◾ Place your Salesforce org’s documents in Microsoft SharePoint
◾ Create the corresponding folder structure in SharePoint
◾ Replace the documents in Salesforce with a link pointing to them in SharePoint

After registration is complete, you will find yourself on the new configuration screen for Document Extractor.
Before creating a configuration, it is important to know three things:
1 - You will need to create a new Salesforce user with a username that begins with document.extractor
Note: Set up this user as a system administrator in Salesforce.
2 – Once you have the new user, you will need to request a new security token for that user
3 – We advise you to test the solution in a sandbox first before deploying it to any production environment, so we will be setting up in a Sandbox in this video
Once you have gone through these three aspects, you can fully configure and use the solution.

🔸 HOW DOES IT WORK?
Document Extractor monitors documents in Salesforce accounts, contacts, or other objects, and email messages, and moves them to the appropriate folder structure in SharePoint.
In this demo video, you will see how the documents are moved within seconds from Salesforce to SharePoint while keeping the URLs of those documents in Salesforce.
Document extractor uses “Push notifications”, which means that the service handles new files uploaded to Salesforce immediately once they are uploaded. The service also uses “Full Scan Polling” as a backup method to ensure all documents are handled.
