Eitan Hersh: Political Hobbyism vs. Activism
In this talk, based on Eitan Hersh's new book, Politics is for Power, we’ll discuss why so many of us do a shallow form of political hobbyism, why it’s bad, and most importantly, what the alternative is. The alternative is told through inspiring stories of seven volunteer organizers, including three from the Boston area, who figured out how to get into the trenches and empower their values.
