Sheung Shui is a town near border to mainland China. This is the 3rd year of closing border due to covid 19. It's not surprised no more people with suitcases and shoppers from China. Many stores and shops still closed because no businesses to them. Landlords seems not too care businesses running or not, they care for whom can afford high-rents. However, I already noticed that several so-called " pharmacy stores" " beauty shops " renovated back to normal-business, or used to be very local residents demanded business type, e.g. restaurant. For last 20 years, only pharmacy + beauty .... only 上水老街坊 know what the old Sheung Shui was to be ..... Speaking of the days before year of 2003 !
