1/16 Tiger 1 RC Tank (Heng Long) modified build slide show
Today I'm featuring how you can take a cheap 1/16th scale Heng Long Tiger tank and make them awesome with some elbow grease, time and some extra cash. It's definitely no Tamiya Tiger, but it comes sort of close after some time and energy. I hope you guys like it. I'll have to get some videos of it running now that I've added the 3 to 1 gear set. -Removed 'airsoft' setup and added correct sized milled aluminum barrel
-Added flash and recoil mechanism to barrel.
-Antenna moved to correct location.
-Removed early filter system.
-Scratch built jack handle and details.
-Redid the wooden jack block.
-Added metal MG34.
-Added scratch built Commander's hatch detail.
-Driver's port modified.
-Added driving light wiring detail to hull.
-Tamiya decals.
-Added screens to rear deck.
-Walterson's 3 speed brass gear box and Type 380 motors & probably stuff I forgot!
