Splash Damage and Bethesda Softworks have aimed to revolutionise the FPS with their ambitious new title: Brink. I take a look at whether or not they've succeeded with this in-depth review.
In future, my reviews will not be this long. I had a lot I wanted to comment on and went into quite a bit of detail when writing the review. By the time I realised I should've cut it down a bit, I'd already thrown together half the video and it would be odd to have a detailed first half and a rushed, cut down second half, so I just continued with it. Sorry if it's too long and boring; it's a big game and too much cool stuff to talk about! I'll try and keep them a bit more concise in the future.
[About my Videos] -
This review is nothing more than my personal opinion. I am not a gaming journalist and generally still have a lot to learn about gaming and the industry as a whole. The purpose of this video is not to give a professional analysis of the game or influence viewers to make a purchase, but to merely share my opinions and thoughts with the online community.
I am completely open to criticism, as long as it is constructive and civil. Feel free to disagree with my review, the score, or even critisize the quality of the video itself, but just go about it in a decent manner. Anyone needlessly trolling will just be blocked.
Also, I am aware that my voiceover is pretty shite. I understand I sound very monotonous and pretty boring to listen to, but hopefully I'll get used to it after doing a few more videos and will have a bit more character in my voice.
In terms of spoilers, I have tried to avoid mentioning any major plot details other than giving a brief synopsis of the story. However, depending on what you consider to be a 'spoiler', there may be glimpses of cutscenes and in-game events that you may want to avoid if you wish to remain completely free of any story information before playing. You have been warned!
