Mel Blue x Manfredo Lament - Collaborative Improvised Set
On Wednesday October 15 2025, we threw a party in a car park Gadigal Land/Central Sydney. We partnered up with two of Australia's best improvisers, Kurt Lam and Gabriel Haslam for a collaborative set.
Their project Manfredo Lament has a cast of rotating musicians, recruiting different improvisers for their performances across Sydney. The concept for this show was to have Mel Blue vocals running that we could weave in and out, all whilst Manfredo improvised the harmony and rhythm.
