What is a Cake Smash?
New parents often ask us what a cake smash is, well it's just as it sounds. It's a chance for your baby to smash a cake! It's a really popular way to celebrate your baby's first or even second birthday, and it's the most wonderful sensory experience for your baby!
We like to start with a few natural portraits and then move onto birthday celebrations.
We'll pose your baby with our giant light up number one, before setting baby to work making their cake - this bit is very popular and the little ones love getting the flour everywhere! Good job you're not at home.
Then when the cake is ready it's time for baby's birthday party and we'll set up balloons and props according to your vision. And then we will set baby loose with the cake, quite often it's their very first cake and the reactions are priceless!
Baby has an utterly wonderful time making a mess, and when nothing is left but a pile of crumbs, we'll pop them in a bubble bath to clean them up - fabulous!
