This is day 210 of my daily SnowRunner Hard Mode Play-through.
In this episode we start in the Pacific P512PF with heavy crane, and have to spend a bit of time working out how we can reach the large pipe for the Don't Push Your Luck task. We finally manage to get to it, and move it a bit closer to the bridge, and then use the White Western Star 4964 with its smaller crane to pick it up and load it into the sideboard semi-trailer. We then exit the wonky bridge and make it up to the mini-warehouse and deliver the large pipe to complete the Don't Push Your Luck task, which then opens up this mini-warehouse and it's 10xMetal Rolls. While here, we load up 9 x Metal Rolls and take them back down to the nearby Rolled Steel Plant and store them, and then craft 13 x Metal Beams from the Metal Rolls we have stored here. We then switch to the Pacific P512PF and bring it up to the Rolled Steel Plant and park it for now, and then hop back into the White Western Star 4964 and take it back towards the mini-warehouse, before turning off to find the 1 x Sequoia. This is much more tricky to load than it first appeared, and after we had put the big tree trunk onto the semi-trailer we were unable to exit from between the rocks under our own steam, and so brought in the Pacific P512PF to help out. The Pacific P512PF eventually was able to pull the trailer out onto the open ground, and the White Western Star 4964 could then extract itself and reattach the semi-trailer and head back to the bridge near the Rolled Steel Plant. We then hopped back to the Pacific P512PF to bring it back as well, but tipped over as we were negotiating the path back out - so returned with the White Western Star 4964 to stand the Pacific P512PF back onto its wheels, which we managed after a minor struggle. Finally we were able to bring both trucks back to the bridge, and eventually reattach the semi-trailer, and took both trucks back over the North Bridge towards the Railway Station. We refuelled the White Western Star 4964 from the fuel carrier trailer and continued on to the Railway Station, delivering the Sequoia to the rail car to complete the first stage of the Fallen Titans contract. Given our success with this delivery, we then left the Railway Station and headed down over the South Bridge to find and load the second Sequoia. After successfully loading it, we then return back over the South Bridge and back to the Railway Station to deliver it to the second rail car and complete the second stage of the Fallen Titans contract.
I am playing with the standard Snow Runner Hard Mode rules:
You have to pay for your fuel & repairs;
You have to pay for your vehicle deployment;
You have to pay for your vehicle recovery;
You have to pay every time you load cargo automatically;
You are not able to sell your trailers and semi-trailers;
You sell your trucks and equipment for half its price;
Contests are restricted in the number of tries you make;
You have to search for the facilities with the cargo that you need by yourself;
You are not able to skip forwards in time.
On top of these, I have also added the following rules:
No mods;
Only solo gameplay, no co-op / multiplayer;
Region must be 100% complete before starting the next region;
Regions must be executed in the standard Snow Runner sequence;
Only vehicles native to the region may be purchased/deployed in that region.
