Removing the back plate
Taking out the battery and internal screws
Carefully lifting the bottom frame and watching the shoulder modules
Removing the analog stick module
Removing the SD card reader
Replacing the analog stick if needed
Disconnecting ribbon cables and removing the Wi-Fi card
Unscrewing and lifting the motherboard
Detaching the 3D ribbon cable
Removing old buttons and rubber pads
Cleaning button sockets
Installing new buttons
Cleaning or reusing rubber pads
Reassembling the console in reverse order
No soldering required. This repair is intermediate-level due to full disassembly, but very manageable with patience.
