Improper integral via residues. Contour integration.
This video will show you how to find an improper integral through residues of a function of a complex variable using contour integration. Here I specifically chose the simplest example with the function 1/(1+x^2) to explain the essence of the method in detail, and the integral can be easily found in the usual way and the answer can be checked.
