2) What's wrong with Sima? - He was born with a diagnosis of "duplication of the long arm of chromosome 9." A rare, poorly understood, incurable disease.
3) How did this happen? Smoking/alcohol/antibiotics? - We are a healthy, happy family. Not a single doctor can say how this happened.
4) What will happen to him next? - Seraphim will never be a completely healthy child, but we are trying to improve his quality of life and simplify his care.
5) Does he see/hear/understand? - He is not deaf or blind, but there are some impairments. He understands and perceives what he needs.
6) Will he ever sit/hold his head up/walk/talk, etc.? Most likely, he will never learn any of these skills. He will always be the same as he is now.
