Perpetrator Who Distributed Leaked Video of Minor in Tasikmalaya Arrested, 21 Videos Circulating
TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The person who distributed a pornographic video depicting an underage girl in Tasikmalaya, West Java, has been arrested.
The video uploaded by the perpetrator is known to be a collection of images of the underage girl in a state of undress.
The images were combined into a video slideshow, which was then distributed on social media.
As reported by Tribunjabar.id, the Head of the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAID) for Tasikmalaya Regency, Ato Rinanto, provided a statement.
He explained that dozens of videos were distributed.
"They were circulated in the form of video slideshows, which are dozens of video clips strung together in one file format," he explained.
The circulating videos reportedly numbered 21.
The KPAD also reportedly assisted the victim in reporting the matter to the authorities.
According to the report received, the perpetrator has now been apprehended by the Tasikmalaya City Police.
The person who distributed the pornographic video is none other than the victim's boyfriend, a 25-year-old man.
He was arrested at his home on Wednesday evening (May 2, 2021).
Tasikmalaya City Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP Septiawan Adi Prihartono, said the perpetrator is currently under investigation.
"He was arrested at his home in North Tasikmalaya and has been cooperative. He has also confessed to his actions," said Septiawan at Tasikmalaya Police Headquarters on Thursday (June 3, 2021). (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunjabar.id)
