Participants in a provocative video from West Kazakhstan region apologized to Kazakhstanis.
Yesterday, November 29, a video circulated on social media that outraged many residents of the West Kazakhstan region. In the video, three West Kazakhstan residents—an adult man and two young men—state in a conversation with a foreign citizen that Uralsk and the region's territory up to the village of Chapayevo should be handed over to Russia.
"There are many like us here," they say in a conversation with a blogger. When the blogger suggests they prepare for the arrival of Russian troops, who will allegedly arrive in Kazakhstan in tanks, the men in the video respond, "We've been ready for a long time, we're waiting."
