kinda started off as a small challenge using this part of octane, but i realised that wanted to actually try and execute ideas and concepts that i have always thought of but have never made, so here we are
this entire thing is most likely top 25 or something considering how stupidly unbalanced and difficult some parts are, but as a whole, i REALLY like the result

i kinda wanna explain each part because they are very cool so yeah
the ufo at the beginning uses momentum through the structure movements to either kill you to help you through each pillar, not a lot to say here
the next ship and ball parts are so obviously limbo inspired, but i like how i made the clicks sync to the music, again not very complex
after that is the spider part, which i actually had to build twice because my game crashed and i lost some data. this was surprisingly fun to make and the sync is very nice here considering how random and messy it was.
and now comes the robot/cube thing, where the entire environment around you is constantly shifting, influenced and following your y value, making it very unpredictable paired with the extra x movements and is basically different with every playthrough.
the ufo part after that is pretty self explanatory and works lol
the mini cube is one of my favourite parts because of how well i managed to pull off my vision. i used the roof technique to fix the camera and then constructed the gameplay using invisible blocks to convey the music in this section, growing more and more complex over time
and then comes the open robot part, where you are required to hit all the necessary custom orbs in order to pass the dash orb following this part, and theres many routes to complete this.
lastly is the randomiser exit thing, where the random count and stuff was triggered at the beginning of the robot/cube part and goes through till the end of the level where a random number is flashed on screen that corresponds to the correct exit. (fun fact, the counter can be seen in the attempt count at 64%)
generally, im happy with how i was able to keep the inputs synced (to an extent) and aaaaaaa this is so random lmao
