Here's a compilation of last year's news on the following topics: electric planes, hydrogen-powered cars and other vehicles, electric ships, charging infrastructure, retro-electric vehicles, and stories from our history section.
We hope you enjoy our selection. This is Evlampiya and the HueElektrik channel, and we're getting started.
We'd like to draw your attention to the fact that we've already begun summing up the past year of China's electric vehicle scene. Our channel features news collections covering all battery technologies, electric supercars, and electric city cars from China. We also featured a segment in which we showcased all the modifications of China's best-selling electric vehicle. Of course, that's the Mini EV. We recommend checking out all our China highlights.
We'd like to share a review of a luxury electric vehicle from China that we completed at the end of 2021.
This is the Hongqi E-HS9 executive electric crossover.
This model could be discussed at length and intriguingly. For now, we'd like to highlight the electric vehicle's most important characteristics.
It has two motors, one per axle. Their combined output is 405 kW, or 551 hp. With these engines, the electric crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under five seconds. The 99 kWh battery provides a range of 510 km according to the NEDC cycle.
Another unique feature of the car is the number of monitors in the cabin.
As you can see, there are three screens arranged in a single row: the instrument panel monitors, the multimedia system monitors, and the front passenger touchscreen. Another one is located below them, and one above is the screen in the rearview mirror. That's five. Now, in the back row, there's one on the console between the seats, and one on each of the front seatbacks. That's eight monitors in total.
A unique feature of the four-seater version of the electric crossover is a storage compartment. It can be used to store, for example, a bottle of champagne. A simple press of the top opens the compartment. A stylish detail that speaks volumes about the status of the owner and adds a touch of fun to everyday life, especially on the way home.
