They Came from Below - VFX Shot
Trying Affinity Photo for the first time to do some Matte Paintings.
The wyrm worm creatures were modelled and animated in Houdini.
The volumetrics were simulated with AXIOM (near real-time!).
Rendered in Mantra and composited in Nuke.
With some elements from ActionVFX.
With renders and all, a couple days of work.
