How to Make an Origami Magic Rose Cube
In this tutorial, I show how to make a magic rose cube (inspired by Valerie Vann) which is now considered as an origami classic. This transformable origami model can be used as an anti-stress or fidget toy, as well as an object to develop fine motor skills and imagination.
This is a modular origami. You will need 6 modules for this cube: 3 modules for the petals of the flower, and 3 modules for the leaves and calyx. Attention: These two categories of modules are slightly different.
Transformation of the cube into a rose 0:00 - 0:40
Modules for the petals of the flower 0:41 - 2:53
Modules for the leaves and calyx 2:54 - 5:04
Rose cube assembly 5:05 - 10:00
Transformation of the rose into a cube 10:01 - 10:30
The folding instructions for the modules should be easy to follow. The cube itself should be easy to assemble, if you carefully follow all the steps.
Folding Tips: The papers should be of the same color on both sides.
You can adjust the video speed in the settings or pause the video if I am too slow or fast.
