The tall man we met in the woods
I just wanted to show to a friend a camp that my father and I built three years ago.
I recorded everything because my friend's mother wanted to see the painting I did
inside the camp.
When we arrived, I decided to show him another place where we usually do camp fires.
It's very close to the camp, so we just walked (we didn't wanted to use the car because it was very close to where we were). We walked for about 2 minutes, then we turned where we wanted to go.
That's when we saw it. There was a tall man, dressed in a suit. It took us some time to understand that it wasn't an animal or a strange tree. When we saw that it was a human, we thought he was a hunter. We just ran as fast as we could.
Some of you might ask : Why did you run if you thought he was a hunter ?
Well, we were just scared. It took us by surprise and it happened very fast,
and because we thought it was somebody that we didn't know, we thought he
was dangerous.
Usually, there are some people hunting at night, but why the suit ???
We ran for a good 4 or 5 minutes, trying not to scream like little girls.
The camera never stopped recording while we were running, so that's why
we skipped a part in the video.
Then, we stopped and decided that we should just go back to the camp.
The tall man/hunter was far away from us and we knew he wouldn't be back.
It was just impossible, we were to far from him.
But we tried not to make any sound while we were walking, I just don't know why
we did that. Maybe we thought he could hear us.
When we wanted to take a shortcut in the woods,(dumbest idea ever I know) we saw him again.
For a moment, my friend was lost. I still don't know why, but I didn't care, I just ran.
At that point, the camera stopped (because it can only record for few minutes at a time)
Thankfully, my friend managed to go back to the camp.
We took the car and went back home.
My friend told me not to put this video online, that it was just a scary joke.
If it is, then it worked.
