Recorded May 19, 2022. The picture was taken September 25, 2022, so the stats and highlights are consistent with this particular date in professional sports. This is one of my 2022 daily episodes for The "Elite" that I made where I break down daily highlights from the sixth Wednesday of the 2022 NBA Playoffs, the third Wednesday of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the seventh Wednesday of the 2022 MLB season. I also previewed the elite matchups and events for today, the 38th day of the 2022 NBA Playoffs, the 18th day of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the 44th day of the 2022 MLB season. Because I started these daily episodes on Opening Day of the 2020 MLB season (July 24, 2020), this is the 636th total "Elite" Daily Episode since I began, and this is my 139th daily episode of the 2022 calendar year. This is my 32nd daily episode of the 2021/22 NBA Playoffs, this is my 15th daily episode of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup season, and this is my 43rd daily episode of the 2022 MLB season. In this episode, I list the individual stats of the best performers from the previous day (May 18, 2022), and I point out the stats of players that I have listed as "elite" in my profiles. I also logged yesterday's "Best NBA Playoffs Performance" and "Best NBA Playoffs Play", as well as yesterday's "Best Stanley Cup Playoffs Performance", "Best Stanley Cup Play", "Best Pitcher", "Best Hitter", and "Best MLB Play" to wrap up an intense day of sports. I used the FIFA.com, NFL.com, NBA.com, NHL.com, and ESPN.com websites to look up the stats from the previous day's games, along with the daily stats and highlights. I additionally used ESPN.com to look up the stats and highlights for the remainder of the games and league standings that I mention in the episode. I also watched highlights for some games on their respective leagues' YouTube accounts. My intent with these daily episodes is to run down the past day's sports in a not-so-long amount of time to save time. I allude to specific games and moments, and I implore anyone who watches to take a look at the aforementioned moments and highlights if they want to. I also point out the particular athletes that I have labeled "elite" as not only great, but as athletes that are performing at an "elite" level within their own sport. I also recommend watching my "Elite" Profiles where I go into depth about why these specific athletes are regarded as either "elite" or "GOAT" level talents. I recorded this episode and took this picture with my iPhone. Thanks for being a part of the journey.
