Field Parameters in Power BI Explained – Switch Measures and Dimension
Field parameters are a very useful feature in Power BI because they allow users to dynamically change what they see in a visual. Instead of creating multiple visuals, you can give the user the option to switch between different measures or dimensions. This keeps your report cleaner and gives users more freedom to explore the data.
In this video I show two practical examples:
• Switching between values like This Year, Last Year and the Difference in a table
• Switching dimensions in a visual, for example Product, Category or Country
