The Best Split Squat That You’re Not Doing!!!

#splitsquats are evil 😈 exercises…

For one: they are quite unstable similarly to #lunges so they’re not too popular… and that makes them so effective because of all that instability that the whole body needs to fight against!

You don’t need to start here unless you’re somewhat experienced with split squats. For many people the Half Kneeling position is great or the static Split Squat without the suspension trainers.

I also added a thoracic rotation which you probably barely notice. I turned my shoulders towards the static leg and that further challenged the stability here and made my lateral #glutes working much more!
