Getting around in PlotForge™: leave the aerial on while you draw so you trace over the real roofline, and switch it off for the clean drawing.

STEPS
1. Mouse wheel zooms
2. Drag empty space to pan
3. Fit brings the whole lot back
4. ↶ Undo (Ctrl+Z) takes back your last move
5. Flip the aerial switch off for the clean drawing. Zooming never changes the printed scale

Kent here with PlotForge. In this lesson we're going to learn about the zoom, pan, and the aerial. Let's get to it. Leave the aerial on while you draw, so you're tracing over the real roofline. The mouse wheel zooms, dragging empty space pans. Fit brings the whole lot back. And Undo takes back your last move. Switch the aerial off for the clean drawing. And there you have it. Permit-ready site plan. Go get that permit.
