➤ Data Dictionary stores the complete information of database .It stores how many tables are defined in the database, In each table how many attributes are present and what all constraints are applied on the attributes.
➤ If any beginner want to understand the software product, then data Dictionary helps the beginner to get basic idea of the product. Because , It stores the entire detail of the database.
➤Data Dictionary has two types:
➤ Passive Data Dictionary: The data is stored in the MS-Excel.
➤ Active Data Dictionary: It uses DBMS software to store the data.
