BOOTLEG SHORT: "7 Grand Dad" (Famicom) |
So I thought I'd try something new with the BOOTLEG series. I created a little spinoff called BOOTLEG SHORT, where I cover bootleg games in a quick 60 minute video. I thought I'd make these for videos where I don't have much to say about the game and don't want to ramble about it for over 10 minutes.
Also, the name BOOTLEG SHORT is a clever play on the series' original name with the S word (can't say it here anymore because YouTube guidelines).
In 2007, I took a look at an infamous unlicensed Famicom game from Taiwan called "Dian Shi Ma Li", the Mario Lottery game. After dozens of comments talking about GRAND DAD, which features a very familiar character, I thought I'd cover it for a bit. It's a ROM hack of an official NES game, so no reason to make a full-on video about it.
