Queen Elizabeth assists HMNZS Manawanui!
Acknowledging the efforts of Carnival Corporation Queen Elizabeth cruise Liner in her swift response providing assistance to Grounded HMNZS Manawanui.
Manawanui crew abandoned ship after after running aground with all accounted for. However the ship could not be saved as it listed, caught fire, sank and capsized.
Sad day for the NZ Navy.
