In this video I will be showing you how to change skype display name. But before we go there, I just want to make sure we understand what Skype name is exactly.
When you sign in to Skype you will see two kinds of names. In Skype, the Skype name is what most people call the username.
The Skype name is unique to your account and is used to log in to the skype app as well as the website.
The Skype name cannot be changed. If you have to change your skype name, you need to create a new account.

The other name, is called the Display name. Its what you specified as your full name when signing up. Your display name is listed in the contact lists of your friends and it also appears when you call or instant message someone on Skype.
You can change your Skype display name from the desktop app or from the website.
