Since my channel name goes by the "386", why not I install Windows 2.1 386 version on 386 emulated hardware using 86Box?
I'm using a much older 386 Machine Board, which is in a form of a standard full size AT motherboard.
The video of installation is in real time. No speed ups and minimal cuts (mainly swapping floppy disks as I'm using a screen recorder, and recording on the 86Box emulator window).
Emulator Hardware Specifications:
Machine | Micronics 09-00021 (Tandon BIOS)
Chipset | Unknown (Likely a Discrete Logic w 82385 or 82C206 from Multiple Brands, however it's unconfirmed.)
Processor | Intel i386DX - 16 MHz
Memory | 1 MB
Video Card | ATI-18800 (Presumably ATI VGA Wonder-16 Early Revision) (ISA)
Hard Drive | 30 MB (MFM)
Floppy Drive A: | 3.5-Inch - 1.44 MB
Floppy Drive B: | 5.25-Inch - 1.2 MB
