Across the United States, investigators recovered cameras from missing hikers who were never found. But when the images were examined together, something disturbing appeared in every photo — a narrow path leading off the main trail into the forest.

Search teams returned to the exact GPS coordinates. Satellite images were checked. Other hikers photographed the same locations.

Even stranger, several photos show an amber light inside the path — as if the sun were setting inside the trees, even though the photos were taken in the middle of the day.
