How to Become a Director
Have you ever wondered how to become a director? You’re not alone. It’s an ongoing joke out here in LA that “all I want to do is direct.”
The first question you need to ask yourself is “Why?” What’s the reason you want to be the director?
Do you have a vision? And do you want to control the vision of your film?
Directing is not something you should take lightly.
If a film is a gigantic rock, as a director, you are lifting that rock, putting it on your back, and walking it up a hill! So make sure, before you jump in, you have a burning desire to be a director first!
