Free schedule for the 2026 World Cup as an Excel template - here's how!
In this video, I'll show you how to use the 2026 World Cup schedule with my Excel template.
The special feature of this schedule is the automatic progression of the winning country to the next round. Simply enter the score, and the rest happens automatically (starting with the Round of 32).
The Excel file has three worksheets:
1. Group Stage Matches
2. Round of 32
3. All Remaining Finals
1. In the group stage, you'll find all the participants divided into 16 groups, labeled A through L. There, you'll find all the information about each match (location, date, and time). You enter the match results manually. Then, in the final standings, note positions 1 through 4. The top two countries in each group are automatically transferred to the Round of 32 worksheet. You must manually enter the eight best third-placed teams.
2. After you've determined the eight best third-placed teams, please also enter them in the Round of 32 worksheet. From now on, everything is automatic! Simply enter the score of the corresponding match, and the winner will be transferred to the worksheet for the remaining finals.
3. Everything happens automatically in the last worksheet. You only need to enter the match results.
