How ICP Can Flip Bitcoin and Ethereum for Top Crypto with Cloud Engines
Internet Computer Protocol may be in position to flip Bitcoin and Ethereum and become the top crypto because ICP is not just another coin. It is infrastructure for the next version of the internet.
In this video, I explain why ICP can do what Bitcoin and Ethereum cannot: solve for AI, cybercrime, secure applications, verifiable infrastructure, cloud computing, Internet Identity, crypto payments, and full-stack on-chain development. Bitcoin may be digital gold and Ethereum may be DeFi infrastructure, but ICP is moving toward becoming the world computer.
The key new idea is cloud engines. Dominic Williams recently showed how ICP can connect with existing cloud infrastructure like Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services while bringing blockchain security, verifiability, tamper resistance, and ICP burning into the picture. This could open the door for institutions, businesses, governments, and entrepreneurs to build secure AI-powered applications on ICP.
I also talk about why this matters for real-world users: companies with sensitive data, law firms, healthcare, finance, governments, entrepreneurs, creators, and anyone trying to build secure websites or applications in an AI-driven world. ICP combines Caffeine AI, Internet Identity, cloud engines, canisters, crypto payments, NNS staking, and full-stack blockchain infrastructure into one ecosystem.
My thesis is simple: Bitcoin and Ethereum were prototypes. ICP is the real execution of what crypto was supposed to become. If the world needs secure AI, cybercrime resistance, decentralized infrastructure, global payments, and on-chain applications, then ICP may be the only crypto positioned to become number one.
