Large paintings require large brushes!
Larger brushes make it much easier to gesso a canvas or cover a large area of a painting with color.

I used these brushes for the sky and they made quick work of it. Plus the blending looks less fussy than if you were to use a small brush. I like the paddle shape without the traditional handle. It makes it easier to grip the brush and push the paint around the canvas with less effort.
