Lyrics:
The wait is over, we set things in motion
Ten decades of failure, resilience and twisted emotions,
We sacrificed many lives, all of this so you could survive
When I look for us in your eyes, will I see gods, or monsters ?
Stellar radiations disturbed the miracle
So hard to love you, blood of my blood
In this new world, we can’t find the balance
But you my son, will you break the silence ?
You’re the first Blood-planet child
I feel them watching me, they don’t understand.
You can say what you want, I know we’re not the same
Your stories of old, a home that I’ll never know
Your mountains, oceans and trees, but everything here is dust and cold
The genome mutation tainted the miracle
Do I belong ? Blood of their blood
In their old world, they took many chances
What can I do ? I’m the first blood-planet child
The pressure is so high
It keeps us from breathing
We are the new mankind
Are we pioneers or traitors ?
