The "You Belong Here” series highlights the dreams and accomplishments of immigrant women in the San Francisco Bay Area. The show addresses their challenges, successes and provides resources for inspiring new conversation, community action, and a sense of wholehearted belonging.

Civic engagement tips:
volunteer at your local community-based organizations, such as The League of Women Voters
volunteer for your children's Parent Teacher Associations (look for leadership roles)
volunteer for service organizations, such as Rotary and service clubs
go out and vote or help neighbors and friends register to vote, even if you are not a citizen
