It was 1984 in Amstetten, Austria. The Fritzl family had 7 children, one being 18 year old Elisabeth Fritzl. On August 28th, she would vanish. For the next 24 years, no one knew where she had gone. Her case went cold. Until, a 19 year old girl showed up at the local hospital and the man with her claimed that she was Elisabeth's daughter. A week later, a much older Elisabeth was found when she walked into the very hospital confirming the rumors. Yet, she had a story of her own. She had never left town, she had been locked in a basement for the past 24 years where she had 7 children on her own. Elisabeth had been kidnapped but she had survived.
