Unique DIY Vinyl Wrap Style for RAM Emblem Customization
In this tutorial, we show how to customize the RAM 1500 front emblem in a unique way using vinyl film. The RAM emblem has three big letters (R.A.M.), and you can easily transform them by wrapping the background for a bold contour effect.
Here’s the process step by step:
🔧 Remove the front of the emblem – use a plastic elastic tool to carefully lift and take off the front covers of the letters.
🎨 Wrap the background – apply bright yellow vinyl (or any color you like) to the background area.
✂️ Cut out the holes – use a sharp blade and the right technique to carefully cut around the plastic mounting points and letter edges.
🔄 Reattach the front letters – once placed back, the emblem looks like black letters with a bright yellow contour around them.
🔥 Finish with heat gun – for better adhesion and long durability.
✅ Simple, safe, and possible for everyone to do at home. And if you ever change your mind, you can remove the vinyl and go back to stock — or pick a different color for a new style.
