Workshop: Info on work of the AHTEG on indicators, synthetic biology & risk assessment (Part 2 of 2)
On 11 May 2024, prior to the twenty-sixth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA 26), which was held from 13 to 18 May 2024, the Secretariat convened an information workshop on the work of the ad hoc technical expert groups related to three agenda items of SBSTTA 26, namely:
the monitoring framework (item 3),
synthetic biology (item 5), and
risk assessment (item 6).
The workshop informed delegates on the progress made by the ad hoc technical expert group on the monitoring framework and the outcomes of the ad hoc technical expert groups on risk assessment and synthetic biology, to facilitate delegates’ deliberations on these agenda items.
