End of the game. Episode 2
Russians at a hotel mean easy money, lots of cleaning, and endless stress? But what if they don't plan to leave? The Huxley Hotel has acquired a particularly "problematic" guest—the great chess player Arkady Balagan. What were they thinking when they registered him—with a name like that, they should have expected trouble right away? Arkady wears a robe even to the bar, drinks vodka straight from the bottle, and is a genius (that's undeniable, but it doesn't show up in his bank account). He can't afford to pay for his suite, but he's not planning to leave either. Or can he? As soon as he approaches the glass doors, the space begins to narrow, filling with white light, his heart beats wildly, and there's a metallic taste in his mouth. Along with his usual deviant behavior, Arkady is also blessed with agoraphobia, acquired when he witnessed the murder of his fiancée. What to do in such a situation? Investigate crimes, of course. Perhaps this will ultimately help the chess player win a difficult game, find his beloved's killers, and finally get some fresh air.
