Generalizing methods to calculate square roots to cube roots

So do each of the method mentioned in the previous two videos generalize to cube roots or even higher order roots? Watch this video to find out!

Note: As far as I am aware, the non-calculus generalization of Babylonian method is nowhere to be found on the Internet, so I consider it an original discovery. If you can find sources supporting otherwise, please let me know.
