The 'Nothing' Mistake Everyone Makes! 🤯
A client recently said: "I don't need no help."
Let’s fix that. The correct version: "I don’t need any help."
Why? Because double negatives don’t work in English! It’s just like math ➖ + ➖ = ➕
So “I don’t need no help” technically means… you do need help! 🤯
📌 Here’s the rule:
In negative sentences, always use "anything":
✖️ “I don’t know nothing.”
✅ “I don’t know anything.”
✖️ “There isn’t nothing in the box.”
✅ “There isn’t anything in the box.”
Use "nothing" in positive sentences:
✅ “There is nothing in the room.”
✅ “No people allowed.”
