Paladins : Auto Purchase Items Guide
New Paladins update have a new Auto purchase, in which the GAME use your game credits and purchase items as soon as possible as per your champion nature and the way you are playing and also the way your opponent is playing. If Auto purchase option bothers you here is the way to turn it off
GO to option - Gameplay - Auto Purchase Items - Disable
