Briefly, in this video I have downloaded macOS Catalina and created a bootable (16 BG) USB drive. Also, I have prepared another USB drive (32 GB) to be used as an external hard drive to install macOS Catalina on it. I have successfully installed macOS Catalina on an external USB drive using another bootable USB drive. All of theses steps have been discussed in this tutorial: -
